The Bach Scoring Academy has numerous junior golf instruction programs available. These include camps, an on course instructional league and individual coaching for junior golfers of all levels whether you want to simply improve your short game, make your golf team, gain a scholarship on a college team or just take it to the next level.

Ultimate Scoring Junior League

At the Bach Scoring Academy we focus on lowering players’ scores by focusing on their short game and playing on the golf course. The Ultimate Scoring Junior Golf League does both! This unique junior league will combine weekly short game coaching and play at one of the area’s finest golf facilities, Heatherwoode Golf Club.

During the weekly play, players will incorporate the skill covered in the weekly coaching under the guidance of the Bach Scoring Academy’s Tom Bach, PGA. Practice facilities are great (and necessary), but Tom will help each player take the skill learned and use it on the golf course. Additionally, players will receive Tom’s expert coaching which will give the player the best chance to make the lowest score at the end of the round. This will include course strategy, shot selection, and how the player needs to prepare to hit a quality shot.

The Ultimate Scoring Junior Golf League will meet on Tuesdays from June 11 through July 16. The weekly instruction will begin at 1:30pm with play immediately to follow.

Heatherwoode's Middle School Golf Camp

This three-day camp is designed for middle school players who want to take their game to the next level. The coaches for the camp will be Tom Bach, PGA from the Bach Scoring Academy and Heatherwoode GC’s Head Golf Professional Matt Cole. Topics for the camp include:

Are you a high school player wanting to take your game to the next level? If the answer is yes then this camp is for you. Tom Bach, PGA from the Bach Scoring Academy and Heatherwoode’s Head Golf Professional Matt Cole will team up to get you shooting lower scores!

Topics that will be covered in the camp include:

Full swing – shaping the ball right, left, high and low

Wedge play – 50 yards and in, sand play, soft lob shots, greenside pitching and chipping

Putting – proper set up and aim, solid contact, distance control and hitting the intended start line

Play With Your Coach!

The best way to play better golf is to play with your coach! During a 9 hole on course session, areas of the student’s game will be identified so strokes are saved.

On course sessions can include club selection, shot selection, mental management and other strategic aspects of the game.

Greens fees are not included in the pricing, multi player discounts are available, contact Tom for details.
